Finest Kind/Smuttynose Brewery, Hampton, New Hampshire, USA. PurposeEnergy commissioned this multi-tank, expandable design in 2019. The digester is dedicated to this brewery’s organic waste streams and features anaerobic digestion followed by ultrafiltration. This system allows Smuttynose to grow its beer production in Hampton while discharging treated water to the town sewer system.
